From Marrakech To Tinghir and Merzouga 4 Days Tour
Day 1: MARRAKECH – ZAGORA
Departure in the morning via SUV on the national road that crosses the High Atlas chain via the Tichka pass, the highest of North Africa, covered in snow most of the year. Not far from Ouarzazate, you will visit the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, classed as a world heritage site by UNESCO. Then you will head towards Zagora via the Drâa valley.
Day 2: ZAGORA – MERZOUGA
You will head towards Erfoud and Merzouga via Tansikht and N’Kob, until the palm forests of Mellal, to cross a wide rocky plains and stop at Tazzarine to eat lunch. During the afternoon, you will cross Alnif and the Tafilalet Valley, historic cradle of the Alaouite dynasty that has been reigning over Morocco for three centuries until Rissani, the legendary Sijilmassa, famous today for its date market. You will then arrive at Merzouga. Stroll in camels. Dinner and night in the campin the desert.
Day 3: MERZOUGA – OUARZAZATE
Early in the morning, you will go visit the dunes of Merzouga, the largest attraction of the Tfilalet, and there, admire the sunrise on their draped of golden sand. After breakfast in the bivouac, you will leave towards Ouarzazate : Tinghir and Boulmane-Du-Dadès (the valley of the famous rose festival), the Gorges of Dadès and the magnificent road of the “thousand Kasbahs” between the chains of the High Atlas and the Anti-Atlas. You will arrive at Ouarzazate via the road of Skoura. In the afternoon, you will visit the town, the Kasbah of Taourirt (old residence of the Pâcha Glaoui) and of Tifoultout before arriving at the oasis of Fint.
Day 4: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
You will head towards Marrakech via the Telouet road along which you will admire the enchanting landscapes with their small villages that decorated with gardens, then via the famous Tichka pass and the road of laurels.
