Day 1: MARRAKECH
Arrival at the airport of Marrakech and transfer to the hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 2: MARRAKECH – IMELGHAS
Departure in direction of Demnate that we will cross to take the road of Azilal. At Tanant, we will head towards the waterfalls of Ouzoud. Walk along the path that leads to the platform to admire the 110 meter chute that falls into an abyss. After lunch, departure to Ait M’Hammed and descent towards the valley of Ait Bougmez, in the heart of the High Atlas, old territory of the Ait Atta tribe. Arrival at Agouti, the first village of this old glacier valley nicknamed « the joyful valley », surrounded by mountains of 3000 or 4000 meters of altitude. Continuation to Tabany, El Had, and Imelghas. Dinner and overnight.
Day 3: IMELGHAS – BIN EL OUIDANE
Departure for the beautiful village of Zaouia Ahanesal via The Tizi N’Illisi pass. Passage to the « Cathedral », a majestic rock formation in front of the « House of the French ». Magnificent landscapes surround the path that you will be taking. Continuation towards the dam Bin El Ouidane by crossing Oued El Abid before arriving at Ouaouizerth where we will see the commemorative monument of the passage of Charles Foucauld in 1883.
Day 4: BIN EL OUIDANE – TODRA GORGES
Departure for a day of traveling on road and path in the heart of the Middle Atlas. Via El Had, Ben Cherri, Naour and the passes of Tizo n’Ifar and Tizi n’Isly we will descend towards Imilchil and its two lakes, Tislit (The fiancée) and Islit (The fiancé). Legend has it that these two lakes were made from tears shed by two lovers from rival tribes that denied their marriage. Every year, a Moussem (festival) celebrates this legend. This festival is the occasion for young Berber women to find a husband. Possible lunch ay Imilchil before continuing towards Agoudal, Tamtatouche and the gorge of Todra whose cliffs tower at 250 meters high. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5: GORGE OF TODRA – GORGE OF DADÈS
Departure to travel along the loop Todra – Dadès. We will ascend the gorge of Todra to arrive at Tamtatouche and from there arrive at the gorge of Dadès via M’Semrir and the staircase path that goes up 2800 meters. Descent in an impressive landscape that the ruined Kasbahs make even more spectacular. We will cross a string of villages along the Oued where life is intense and varied. Via Ait Ali and Ait Youl, we will arrive at Boumalne in the Dadès. Dinner and overnight.
Day 6: DADÈS GORGES – ZAGORA
After breakfast, departure from Boumalne Dadès towards N’Kob across path and mountain while crossing the Saghro mountain range via the Tozi Tazazert, with lunch on the road. In the afternoon, departure towards Zagora via Tftechna, then you will cross the Drâa valley and its date trees across several fortified villages. Arrival at Zagora. Dinner and overnight.
Day 7: ZAGORA – ERG CHEGAGA
After breakfast, departure in SUV towards M’Hamid. Stop at Tamegroute to visit the library, Kasbah and pottery studios. Then, continuation until M’Hamid and lunch. Then, departure from M’Hamid towards the huge dunes of Chegaga by passing along the old caravan path along the sacred oasis. Observation of the sunset, dinner and night in a bivouac at the foot of the dunes.
Day 8: ERG CHEGAGA – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast in the desert, departure via SUV to cross 90 km. Stop for lunch in the first village after the desert of Foum Zguid. In the afternoon, you will continue to Ouarzazate via Taznakht. Arrival in the late afternoon. Dinner and overnight.
Day 9: OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
Departure from Ouarzazate to Marrakech via the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (classed as a UNESCO world heritage site). Visit the Kasbah, then continue along the magnificent route of Telouet and the Tizi N’Tichka pass until Marrakech.
Day 10: MARRAKECH
Depending on when you leave, free time and then transfer to the airport.
