Day 1: ARRIVAL IN CASABLANCA
Upon your arrival at the Casablanca airport, you will be met by our team and taken to your hotel where dinner will be served.
Day 2: CASABLANCA-RABAT
You will begin with a panoramic tour of Casablanca, the economic capital of the kingdom. You will see its most important neighborhoods and points of interest: the medina, the Mohammed V Plaza, the United Nations Plaza, the central market, the Habbous neighborhood, the Royal Palace, the residential neighborhood of Anfa and the beautiful waterfront with pools, elegant restaurants and—out on the point—the Hassan II Mosque. You will then go on to Rabat, the modern administrative capital, an ancient, flowering and well-planned city. You will visit the medina, the marvelous Kasbah of Oudayas, the Hassan Tower, and the magnificent mausoleum of Mohammed V, and then the ramparts and fortified walls of the Mechouar circling the Royal Palace.
Day 3: RABAT-MEKNES-FES
Departure from Rabat for the holy city of Moulay Idriss (the first sultan of Morocco) and Meknes, the “Moroccan Versailles.” Founded at the end of the 17th century, the city is surrounded by a triple ring of 40 km and formed of two agglomerations: the Medina, with the most beautiful royal gate in Morocco, the Bab El Mansour, and ono the other side, the new modern city. After the tour, you will go on to Fes.
Day 4: FES
Your entire day will be dedicated to a tour of Fes, the oldest imperial city and the religious capital of Morocco. You will visit the medieval medina, the Bou Anania and Attarine Medersas, and the entrance to the Qarawiyyin Mosque, one of the oldest universities in the world. You will also see the superb Nejjarine fountain and the most beautiful souks in Morocco.
Day 5: FES-IFRANE-BENI MELLAL-MARRAKECH
Departure for Marrakech, on a road rich in bio-diversity. You will first go through the Middle Atlas, passing through the immouzzer of Kandar, the restful countryside of Ait Aoua lake, and then Ifrane, a charming ski station with a magnificent cedar forest and waterfall. You will have a relaxing stop at picturesque Beni-Mellal before going on to Marrakech. Little by little, you will see the earth becoming red against the blue sky and the green palm trees.
Day 6: MARRAKECH
You will enjoy your day visiting Marrakech, the “pearl of the south” founded in the 11th century by the Almoravides. Your tour will include the Saadien Tombs (16th century dynasty) the Dar Si Said museum, the Agdal and Menara gardens, the Koutoubia, the Bahia palace, the leather artisans and dyers. In the afternoon you will see the souks and little shopping streets around the Djema El Fna, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with its permanent street show of story-tellers, snake charmers, medicine men, fire eaters, musicians and other performers.
Day 7: MARRAKECH-AGADIR
Departure for Agadir via Imin Tanout where you will see lots of argan trees as well as goats climbing their branches. This tree produces a special oil with excellent health benefits, used in cosmetics and for cooking.
Day 8: AGADIR
The morning is dedicated to visiting Agadir. You will discover the port—Morocco’s largest for sardine fishing, with fishmongers selling their wares, and the Kasbah, that dominates the whole city and whose ramparts are among the only traces of the old city destroyed by earthquake in 1960. You will go on to visit the broad avenues of the city and the artisans’ boutiques. From there you will go to Inezgane, a small commercial city with the most important souk in the Sous plane. You will return to Agadir for lunch. Afternoon free.
Day 9: AGADIR-CASABLANCA
Return to Casablanca via the coast: Essaouira, Safi, El Jadida.
Day 10: DEPARTURE FROM CASABLANCA
Transportation to the airport and assistance before embarkation.
